The Wedge-tailed Eagle is a majestic large eagle native toAustralia.
They are found from the tropical Top End to Tasmania.
They partner for life and will find a large territory and defend it together.
Wedge Tailed Eagle are Australia’s largest bird of prey. Females are larger than males with an average wingspan of 2.3 metres. When food is limited the larger eagle chick may eat their smaller sibling. And my kids thought they had it tough!!
