Ringtail Possum
Ringtail Possum
✨💫⭐️One of my most favourite books growing up was Possum Magic.
The beautiful illustrations told the story like you were there, within the book looking for that certain something to bring the little one back from being invisible.
Beautiful book.
This illustration is for my mum who just adores possums.
She’s always leaving food out for them.
Fun Fact time!!!!
The Ringtail Possum is an Australian marsupial who eats flowers, fruits, plants and sap. Although they have been know to eat insects and birds eggs too 😞
They are about the size of a large rabbit. Smaller than a Brushtail possum.
Their long, white-tipped tail holds onto branches and different things, but when not in use they often carry it curled in a coil, hence the name ringtail.
Adorable little things aren’t they.
Hand drawn with just lead pencil, watercolours and gouache paints.
