This illustration is for my mum who just adores possums.
Sheās always leaving food out for them.
The Ringtail Possum is an Australian marsupial who eats flowers, fruits, plants and sap. Although they have been know to eat insects and birds eggs tooĀ š
They are about the size of a large rabbit. Smaller than a Brushtail possum.
Their long, white-tipped tail holds onto branches and different things, but when not in use they often carry it curled in a coil, hence the name ringtail.
Adorable little things arenāt they.
