Welcome to my beautiful Kangaroo illustration,
I think she is beautiful with such a sweet placid nature!!!
Fun Facts Time!!!
There are four different kind of kangaroo species, the red kangaroo, eastern grey kangaroo, western grey kangaroo and an antilopine kangaroo.
The red kangaroo is the largest marsupial in the world.
Kangaroos have very powerful legs and can be dangerous at times. They can jump very high, sometimes three times their own height. Although they can’t walk backwards! They can swim.
Most kangaroos eat grass and baby kangaroos are known as ‘joeys’.
A group of kangaroos is called a ‘mob’, ‘troop’ or ‘court’. They are social animals which stay in groups of at least 3 or 4 individuals. Some groups can comprise of as many as 100 individuals.
They have excellent hearing, and like some other animals are able to move their ears in different directions without moving the rest of their head.
Apparently there are more kangaroos than humans in Australia!
