Koalas can only be found in one place in the entire world - AUSTRALIA! They are Marsupials and related closest to Wombats as both animals have pouches that open towards the rear. They live for twenty or so years and can run as fast as a rabbit! Koalas only eat Eucalyptus leaves. Eating approx 200-500grams of leaves per day. The word 'koala' is thought to mean 'no drink' or 'no water' in the Aboriginal language and they can sleep for up to 19 hours per day.
