Let me introduce you to Sonny the Sun Bear.
He’s dreaming of warm sunny days in his homeland of Southeast Asia. 
He is actually really vulnerable as his population has declined by 30% over his past 3 generations. 
Unfortunately Sun Bears are hunted for their meat and their body parts which are used for Chinese medicines.
Cubs are often taken from their mothers and kept as pets.
Doesn’t that make you feel so sad ....... ⠀
Their fur is mostly black in colour apart from a crescent-like golden patch on their chest. According to legend, this patch resembles the rising sun, hence the name ‘sun bear’. 
They prefer to just hang out by themselves and use their super long 25cm tongue to gather honey from Beehives!!!!

I have lovingly hand signed each print and the watermark over the illustration is obviously removed.
